What exactly are political forums? It is usually a subscription site established to discuss different events, different opinions and breaking news in the field of national politics. The better forums are those which have no political bias i.e. they are not pro Democrat or Republican but have been established with the intention of encouraging open and honest debate with members holding different views.
The owner and moderators on the internet site should promote exchange of opinions as this will make the website more popular and therefore will attract more traffic and resulting members. But they should also moderate the political forums properly. While arguments are frequent when any person discusses national politics, it shouldn't be an excuse for a member to abuse another. These people tend to start quoting the Constitutional right to freedom of speech when you try to state the point. Sometimes it is useless trying to get into a debate with them and the best thing is to leave and find political forums populated with individuals who are much more broad minded.
